Hello everyone!

I know I said I’d be back on DA after the 3rd, but I was yet again wrong.
But that’s okay, I have my reasons.
Really, the main reason why I haven’t posted anything is that, while I have about 15 things to be posted, none of them are what I consider my true art. They’re mostly sketches and character references.
I decided that when I officially got back on DA, I would post a full drawing with a bg and everything, so you’ll be seeing that today.

And holy crap today’s my Birthday, and I’m now 17
It feels kinda odd, I did so much growing as a person in the last year, but the whole birthday happiness is kinda missing, I dunno why.
I guess that it may be because in the past, birthdays were a time for me and my parents to get together and just enjoy the moment, but I think that my family is now broken beyond repair...

But I won’t get into that now.

I should mention that I have a crapload of schoolwork to do over the summer, so I’m not sure how often I’ll be posting, but I’ve got a massive backlog, so there will be lots of new stuff.
I want to focus on my characters, but I’m also doing some art for my boyfriend which is great

Another ting I’ve been thinking about these last few weeks is that maybe I should start taking people’s commissions. I mean, it would give me some extra cash that I could really use, and I am pretty versatile, but the question is, am I good enough?
I think that I am, but what kind of commission would I do? Hand-drawn icons would be good, but I guess that it’s up to whoever commissions me...

What do you guys think? Should I go for it?

That aside, I’ve brought up the topic of a pet snake with my parents once again, and I’ll hopefully have a cute widdle ball python by the end of summer
I’m also considering getting a tattoo... once I’m 18 of course. I’d probably get a personalized back tat with my name or something, like the one’s Wen-M did a while ago.
I wanna commission one form him, but I need to look into how to commission from him first.

Great thing, my bf (Joe) is starting to get more friends on DA, which really rocks
