I’ve been hinting at my new concept of an Uber Swyft for some time now, and here’s the result:

This is just a ref for now (and a really bad ref at that), but this is Aiden.

Here’s the info I’ve got on Uber Swyfts sop far:
After about 50,000 years, the Anthro World (which back in Sinai’s story was only about 5,000 years old, and that’s considered modern) has drastically evolved into the sort of fantasy matrix/Ghost in the Shell world we think of today. The Anthros have evolved with it was well. While I haven’t thought of much else yet, the races have basically become super races. The one I’m focusing on are the Uber Swyfts.

If you look at a pic of a Swyft on DA, you’ll probably find that most of them wear tribal garments that usually have armor and even blades attached. This is a takeoff on that.
Rather than having to wear armor, Uber Swyfts have natural armor that grows from their own bodies. The armor position varies, as does its style, but all Uber Swyfts have it.
Also, certain Swyfts have natural blades contained in their bodies as well, these then spring out of the body much the way Varna’s blades do, as the are connected to strong tendons. An added bonus is that, when angered, (tough some can do it on command), can “uff up’ their armor to create a sort of Frilled Lizard effect. However, these are razor thin, which effectively transforms the Swyft’s entire body into a weapon.

Also, Uber Swyfts have better steakth, strength, and speed attributes that normal Swyft Claws do. And while the whole Swyft race in general enjoys better eyesight than most, Uber Swyft sight is something amazing. It varies from heatsensing to nightvision to something akin to Xray, but the whole race has, in short, amazing eyes.

On to Aiden himself…

Age: 22
Height: 5’10”

Race: Uber Swyft
Occupation: Underground fighter

Aiden ‘s armor occupies most of his thighs, calves, hands, fingertips, back of his hands, sides of the chest, toes, tops of feet, biceps, triceps, tail, and small portions of the back.
He has the gift of perfect night vision, but it comes with a downside: The patches of white on his shoulders, cheeks and neck, ankles, and buttocks are fluorescent, meaning they glow in the dark. So, while he can see his enemies in the dark, they can see him too. Luckily though, Aiden is even faster than most Uber Swyfts, so this wouldn’t be a problem if it weren’t for how he makes his living. He works in an underground arena in which he battles other Anthros for his life, gladiator style. Not the most humane, but Swyfts in general are known as the warriors of the Anthro world, so he’s happy to keep the image alive. As well as himself.

Personality-wise, Aiden is kinda distant, but there are a few people he really cares about. The rest of the world can take a number in his opinion though. You’re much more likely to see him smile in battle then in daily life, but he avoids killing if at all possible, this has caused problems with the people that own the arena. But he doesn’t care. In his opinion, so long as he keeps his ass in one piece, he’s happy. Aiden is searching for something, and hopes that climbing to the top of the arena will help in his search. Whatever he’s looking for though, no one is certain.
