Hello Everyone,

If it isn't obvious by the art orgy going on im my gallery, I'm back from vacatio and updating like hell. I'll catch up on everyone else's art once I'm done. sorry, but I want to clear out my "to post" folder soo bad!

So, vacation was good, I planned on finishing a lot of art, but I only ended up drawing more, not finishing anything typical

But that isn't really a bad thing I think.

Tons of stuff on the way...eventually.

Aside from that, I'm getting back to my true gamer self. I cannot wait to see the new Gerard Butler movie GAMER. Seriously, youtube this trailer now if you haven't seen it already. It shall be epic.

Also, PROTOTYPE and inFAMOUS have taken over my life, and I'm getting my sick kicks and giggles from the Yahtzee battle between Activision and SuckerPunch for their games. Lingerie battle. awesome.

Alex totally Won in my book

I'm also digging all the Proto/Famous wars going on here on DA. There's a ton of art about what would happen if PROTOTYPE's Alex Mercer were to duke it out with inFAMOUS Cole McGrath.

Here's my take on it:
(there won't be anything else but gaming stuff from here on, if you're not interested, stop reading now)

I love both of these games. Sandboxing is pretty much the best thing ever.
Alex Mercer is dark, badass, lightly cynical, driven and powerfull, and overall UNSTOPPABLE.
Cole McGrath is more down-to-earth, someone you could actually meet, and funny. And still hella strong.

I love being able to run all over New York City and Empire is pretty cool too, with it's own feel.

The two games are very similar, but I gotta say I like that Alex's powers don't run out and need recharging like Cole's lightning. I definityle like the hilarity of inFamous, something Prototype is totally devoid of...unless you're sick like me and laugh when you hit civilians with your tank. O.o

As for what would happen when/if Alex and Coel were to meet---Alex would win, hands down. Cole wouldn't have a chance.
Reasons:
Alex isn't even slightly human. He might act like it, but he's a virus.
Alex's powers are short range and long range (whipfist) Cole's are too, but limited. Alex's whipfist could easily get Cole into his attack range.
Alex is effectively immortal. If you've played InFamous, you know Cole isn't. Alex survived a nuclear explosion at close range. NOTHING Cole could do would kill him.
Also, with Alex's shapeshifting abilities, he could be anyone. Cole wouldn't know what hit him.

Battle conclusion: Cole is definitely a worth opponent for Alex, but Alex is something no one save for Elizabeth Greene's child PARIAH could handle. I dunno if Alex would consume Cole. He'd get awesome lightning abilities, but it's not like he NEEDS them. I also like to think Alex has a sense of honor. Why consume someone who gave such a good fight? I don't recall alex consuming Robert Cross, the Specialist, and he was also a worthy opponent.

so yeah....oh, and alex looks better with boobs
