Twilight Challenge from HellAs part of my grand return to DevART I have decided to undertake a little experiment on myself. (mainly as a reason to for me to get on DA everyday)
It is also tangible evidence that I am losing my mind. That’s right my friends, I am reading Twilight.
What started as an innocent trip to Hot Topic, and the interest in a particular shirt that just happened to be Twilight-related (wolf pack shirt in case you’re curious) has developed into a challenge to test my mettle and to see if I, a hardcore vampire fan and equally hardcore ANTI-Twilightist, can actually read the series.
I am a glutton for punishment.
To track my progress I will read one chapter a day, and post my thoughts on it in my DeviantARt Journal. This will include all thoughts positive, negative, and otherwise.
If I win, I will have proven to myself that Twilight is a horrible excuse for literature.
If it wins, I could actually begin to like the series.
Game on! FIGHT!!!
Team Lotus vs. Team Twilight. begins tomorrow.
Note:
This blog of sorts will be carries out in the fashion of the blog from Julie&Julia (amazing movie and story). It will be put here on DA because I have no need for a real blog, or for that matter a LiveJournal. It will also mean that I won’t have to get a new password for a different website, which generally makes me a much happier person.
